About the Role:

Randstad is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistant to join our outstanding Nursery team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and care to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities that promote children's learning and development.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, promoting a love of learning and curiosity in children.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Contribute to the creation of a stimulating and inclusive learning environment, promoting outdoor activities and exploration.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, enhancing your skills and knowledge to provide the best possible care and education for children.

Requirements:

  • Relevant childcare experience, preferably in an EYFS setting.
  • CACHE Level 2/3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and its implementation.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (Sponsorship not available for this role).
