Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of depot staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the depot, including inventory management, customer service, and sales
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement plans to improve depot efficiency and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing a team and driving business growth
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure to strict deadlines
  • Demonstrate understanding and experience of managing Health and Safety practices at work
  • Ability to understand and work with profit and loss accounts and budgets
  • Capability to take ownership and responsibility
  • Ability to adapt to individual and operational change in a diverse and fast-paced organization
  • PC literate
  • General knowledge of the construction industry and trades, including products
  • Previous experience of the hire process would be an advantage
  • Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver
  • Driving license
