We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview:

As an Industrial Electrician, you will lead teams of technicians and subcontractors daily, ensuring that tasks are clearly defined, efficiently executed, and compliant with health, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform work in industrial and commercial settings.
  • Operate independently or collaborate with other electricians.
  • Engage in various tasks including power supply installations, unistrut and trunking setups, panel terminations, testing and inspections, and machinery relocations.
  • Collaborate with other trades such as mechanical and pipework.
  • Update and modify Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and present them to the team as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with RAMS and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements when using plant and equipment.
  • Conduct Toolbox Talks and discuss specific risk assessments with the team.
  • Perform Point of Work Risk Assessments and present findings to the team.
  • Maintain accurate site documentation.
  • Collect and organize daily paperwork, including disconnection sheets and protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in industrial and commercial environments.
  • Background in the installation and relocation of industrial machinery or production equipment.
  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent training (City & Guilds Required, JIB ECS).
  • Possession of a CSCS Card.
  • Ability to interpret electrical layout drawings and schematics (e.g., E-plans).
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety standards.
  • Experience in time-sensitive production environments.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home.
  • Additional industrial qualifications such as Abrasive Wheels or Work at Height are desirable.
  • IPAF certification (Cherry Picker/Scissor Lift license) is a plus.
