Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable and receivable teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments, maintaining up-to-date ledger entries.
- Reconcile ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies found in records.
- Prepare financial statements related to accounts receivable and payable.
- Implement and maintain internal control procedures and policies.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial data and efficiency of internal processes.
- Provide leadership and direction to the ledger team, setting objectives and monitoring performance.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports as required.
- Proven experience as a Ledger Manager or in a similar supervisory role within finance.
- Strong understanding of ledger management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant finance qualification or equivalent experience.
