Senior Procurement and Contract Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement and Contract Officer to join our team at Mitie. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing complex procurement activities, negotiating contracts, and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage flexible and fixed price-fixed term has and electricity procurement activities
- Source water and metering contracts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key account customers
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless contract management
- Negotiate contracts and ensure best value for money solutions
- Produce numerical and written analysis of tender bid responses
- Ensure relevant systems and databases are up to date with high-quality information
Requirements:
- Existing CIPs (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply qualification (or above)
- Minimum of two A-levels (or international equivalent) or a CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate qualification
- Excellent commercial awareness and ability to recognise contractual risk
- Expert knowledge of cost elements that make up a supply contract
