About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cleaner to join our team at First Bus, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our fleet of vehicles and depot premises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the internal and external cleaning of buses and depot premises using specialist equipment and chemicals.
  • Work effectively when unsupervised after initial training.
  • Ensure protective clothing is used properly at all times and adhere to appropriate practices and procedures.
  • Update and maintain cleaning records.
  • Report any issues, such as damage to seats or graffiti, to your supervisor.

Working Hours and Location

We offer a 39-hour working week, with 17:00 hours start time and 5 days over 7 (every other weekend off). Our depot is located in Norwich.

Hourly Rate and Benefits

Our hourly rate is £12.20, with an additional 20p per hour for PCV licence holders from day one. We also offer a range of benefits, including:
