Job Opportunity: Senior Cyber Underwriter

Markel International Services Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Senior Cyber Underwriter to join our dedicated Cyber Division in London.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and strategic thinker to help us grow our Cyber business. As a Senior Cyber Underwriter, you will be responsible for managing a portion of our Cyber portfolio, analyzing data, and creating strategies to drive business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow our Cyber business
  • Manage a portion of our Cyber portfolio, analyzing data and creating strategies to drive business development
  • Collaborate with our claims team to maximize business development opportunities
  • Contribute to the creation of new products and the refinement of existing ones
  • Proactively develop and enhance our customer offering within Cyber
  • Take the lead in developing and managing key broker relationships

Requirements:

  • Strong experience of Cyber Underwriting
  • Underwriting Insights and Risk Acceptance
  • Portfolio Management
  • Underwriting Data Analysis
  • Actuarial Concepts
  • Claims Service and Data Analysis
  • Wording Comprehension and Improvement
  • Excellent relationship management skills
