About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled RD&A Technologist to join our team in Portbury, Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with our team across two locations, gaining exposure to various technologies and developing your skills and expertise.

You will be responsible for managing a select portfolio, overseeing product development and application from customer brief to customer launch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, interacting and troubleshooting with customers on application concerns.
  • Coordinate new product launches and run trials at Kerry manufacturing sites.
  • Proactively develop products in line with Kerry promotional campaigns.
  • Lead in raw material and supplier approval for product improvement.
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate the RD&A commercialization process between customers and the commercialization team.
  • Conduct research for product improvement and development, outlining procedures and specifications.
  • Sample creation and dispatch to customers.
  • Remain flexible to meet business requirements and customer timelines.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree in Food Science or related field, or relevant experience in the food industry.
  • Good knowledge of meat technologies and processing.
  • Computer literacy with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with IT systems, including SAP, Salesforce, and Optiva, an advantage.
  • Able to work accurately and quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently and with attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Good organizational skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Innovation and creativity.
