Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Engineer to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a Biomedical Engineer, you will be responsible for the provision of daily on-site repair, preventative maintenance, and asset management of medical devices within specified hospital locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines, and complete repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines.
- Site Support: Travel to various sites as required to perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance, and liaise with 3rd party suppliers for spare part and contract quotations.
- Team Collaboration: Work with and support the site/team leader in achieving contract KPIs.
Requirements:
- Certification: Certified OEM training.
- Education: UK Degree in Biomedical engineering, electronics, or medical technologies.
- Experience: 3-5 years in a UK biomedical setting, with experience working with Patient monitoring, diathermies (electro surgery units), theatre tables, defibrillators, infusion & volumetric devices, Anaesthesia equipment, and ventilation devices.
- Skills: Competent with a broad range of medical devices, and a Full UK Driving Licence.
