Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Coventry facility. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform breakdown maintenance and repairs on production and packaging machinery
  • Carry out mechanical maintenance, including replacing gearboxes, rollers, belts, bearings, shafts, pulleys, and drives
  • Conduct electrical maintenance, including replacing sensors, proximity switches, motors, gearboxes, and control panels
  • Fault find using PLC's, Multi-Meters, Schematics, and Inspection
  • Perform PPM maintenance, including routine servicing and inspections
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds, NVQ, or BTEC Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance, ideally gained through a recognised apprenticeship
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a high-speed manufacturing environment, ideally in the food or FMCG industry
  • Mechanical and electrical skills, with a strong competency in fault finding and repairing machinery
