Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum
Hours: 3 Shift Rotation / 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
Our client is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with the ability to fault find on Siemens PLC systems.
- Time served apprentice or NVQ in mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic technical drawings.
- Previous experience in PLC fault finding - Siemens.
- Ideal candidate will have 18th Edition in Electrical installation.
- Maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of production machinery, equipment, and systems.
- Participation in the identification and procurement of consumables and machine spares.
- Accompany, assist, and monitor service engineers, contractors, and vendors as required.
- Ensure efficient shift handovers to maintain machines and plant at optimum operational condition.
