The Team
The synergy between sales and supply chain operations is vital for Kia Europe's success. The sales division is responsible for generating revenue and fostering customer relationships, while the supply chain team ensures the efficient delivery of products and services. These teams collaborate at various stages of the supply chain process.
The Role
As a key member of the supply chain team, you will play an integral role in the operations of Kia Europe. Your responsibilities will encompass managing customer orders, overseeing the shipping of vehicles, and coordinating vehicle preparation and delivery to our dealership partners. This position requires effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders, particularly in handling inquiries from dealer network partners regarding vehicle orders and allocations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the vessel manifests process to ensure new vehicles are accurately loaded onto the SAP platform, including necessary adjustments to arrival dates and stakeholder communications.
- Responding to dealer inquiries and managing communications related to vehicle orders, allocations, and supply.
- Preparing Excel reports upon request and conducting initial analyses for review and subsequent actions.
- Proactively managing back-orders through stock swaps and adjustments to color/specification.
- Maintaining minimum stock levels to support vehicle sales objectives.
- Collaborating with Regional Business Managers to address dealer issues and stock situations.
- Operating the vehicle allocation system, involving regular communication with Kia Regional Business Managers and finance partners regarding network allocations.
- Administering vehicle invoicing, credit, and re-invoicing processes.
- Assisting with dealer inquiries related to used vehicles.
- Supporting the processing and administration of used cars and company vehicles.
- Aiding in the management of fleet contracts.
About You
Education:
- A solid educational background, including at least 4 GCSEs, with a focus on English Language and Mathematics.
Experience:
- Previous administrative experience is preferred.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications and SAP is desirable.
- Excellent telephone communication skills.
- High level of adaptability and flexibility.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Self-motivated with a keen desire to learn.
