Electrical Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced EC&I Project Engineer to join our team at Automation Experts Ltd. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of Health and Safety.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in delivering EC&I projects to a high standard. You will be responsible for collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. This will include developing detailed project proposals, creating comprehensive project plans, and identifying potential project risks.
As a Project Engineer, you will also be responsible for reviewing and approving engineering design documents, specifications, and technical drawings. You will provide technical guidance to project teams as needed and ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Develop detailed project proposals, including budget estimates and timelines
- Create comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, milestones, and resource requirements
- Identify and allocate project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
- Identify potential project risks, developing robust risk mitigation strategies
- Review and approve engineering design documents, specifications, and technical drawings
- Provide technical guidance to project teams as needed
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience delivering EC&I projects to a high standard
- Stakeholder management experience
- IOSH Managing Safely, ECS H&S card, Asbestos Awareness, First Aid (preferred)
- Proficiency in project management software, i.e., MS Project or Primavera
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
