We are seeking a talented Photographer to enhance our Photo Studio team at Next. This role is integral to producing exceptional imagery that aligns with our creative vision and brand identity.

As part of a dynamic group of in-house photographers, you will collaborate to create high-quality visuals that reflect Next's artistic direction. This position is fast-paced and requires adaptability to the evolving needs of our photography teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding Still Life photography that meets the standards of our brand principles and creative guidelines.
  • Work under the guidance of your senior photographer to align with the creative lead.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and the ability to take constructive feedback with professionalism.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and calm demeanor in a busy studio environment.
  • Foster effective communication within the team to enhance the visual aesthetics of our imagery.
  • Stay informed about current trends and cultural movements to inspire your work.
  • Collaborate with fellow photographers to maintain a cohesive studio environment.
  • Approach projects with creativity and innovation, consistently striving for excellence.
  • Set clear, achievable goals in partnership with your Senior Photographer.
  • Adhere to established style guides and briefs from product teams or studio management.
  • Be flexible to work at various Next studios or on location as needed.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of photography, retouching, and lighting techniques is essential.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop and Capture One is required.
  • Familiarity with graphic design principles is preferred.
  • Experience in training others in photographic techniques.
  • High proficiency in MAC Operating systems.
  • Background in a large creative studio setting.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary trends and lighting methodologies.
  • Innovative and proactive mindset in all project approaches.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and workload management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
  • Effective communication and listening skills.
  • Commercial awareness of retail fashion and lifestyle trends.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in E-commerce and editorial photography is crucial.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • A comprehensive portfolio or website showcasing your work.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • A valid UK driving license.
