We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Governance Manager to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Information Rights and Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization complies with Information Rights Law, including the Data Protection Act 2018, the UK General Data Protection Regulation, Access to Health Records Act 1990, the Freedom of Information Act 2000, and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective information governance strategies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with clinical and corporate colleagues to deliver high-quality information governance services.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on data protection and information governance matters.
- Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with information governance policies and procedures.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on information governance best practices.
