About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of MIS and Data Strategy to join our team at Oaklands College. As a key member of our senior management team, you will play a pivotal role in leading and developing our Management Information and Exams teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of data strategies to ensure accurate data returns to funding bodies and secure appropriate funding.
  • Oversee access to comprehensive, reliable, and up-to-date information and high-quality reporting facilities.
  • Spearhead compliance monitoring and intervention, with a specific focus on data protection.
  • Active participation in the broader management team and contributing to the strategic development of the College.

Requirements

  • Excellent leadership skills and experience of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • High level of IT literacy, including experience of design and implementation of data strategies.
  • Experience working as a senior MIS or data manager within an FE environment.
