Job Title: Process Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our core engineering team and contribute to the development and implementation of our modular technology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, planning, licensing, constructing, and commissioning our first commercial-scale industrial plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize industrial processes from inception to start-up and certification
  • Review and develop conceptual and front-end process engineering, process simulation, equipment lists, and data sheets
  • Collaborate with external engineering, environmental, licensing, and construction parties
  • Develop and implement improvements to our existing pilot plant in Mallorca, Spain
  • Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and best practices
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in the design, implementation, and project management of process-oriented systems, preferably in bio-refining, pyrolysis, thermal conversion, catalytic processes, oil refining, carbon capture, or related processes
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy concepts, trends, and economics
  • Excellent communication skills for team-based working and external parties
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve goals
  • Fluent in English language
