About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Dermatologist to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Dermatologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our dermatology service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a first-class clinical service to patients with skin conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex cases.
- Lead a team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other support staff, to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Contribute to the development of our dermatology service, including the development of new treatments and services.
- Participate in teaching and training of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development of our research program, including the design and delivery of clinical trials.
Person Specification
- Full GMC registration.
- Minimum of English Level 2 (GCSE grade C or equivalent), ILETS, or graduate of a UK Medical School.
- Wide knowledge and experience in Dermatology.
- Previous NHS experience.
- Experience of teaching.
