Position Overview:
Join Babcock International Group as an Independent Safety Review Coordinator within the Nuclear Safety division. This pivotal role involves ensuring the adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance across the organization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Independent Peer Review (IPR) Department, managing both internal and external personnel while maintaining up-to-date qualifications and experience documentation.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives for team members to align with future organizational requirements.
  • Guarantee uniformity in peer review practices and act as the company representative in safety-related discussions.
  • Engage with the INO function to exchange regulatory insights and enhance compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications and Expertise:

  • Proven background in nuclear safety, complemented by experience in safety-centric engineering.
  • Understanding of safety evaluations and submarine engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with safety assessments, fault analysis, and functional safety requirements.

Essential Requirements:
The ideal candidate must possess the ability to obtain and sustain Security Check (SC) clearance for this position.
