Cinnamon Care is seeking a compassionate and organized Activities Coordinator to join our team at Mornington Court, a luxury 57-bed care home providing residential and dementia care and support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating a successful activities and volunteer programme, including internal and external communication about activities-focused programmes for our residents.
Main Responsibilities:
- Organize and conduct activities that promote social, mental, and physical stimulation for residents within the home.
- Help organize fundraising events and special occasions, such as Christmas entertainment and Ascot.
- Produce a monthly programme of events to be discussed with the General Manager.
- Encourage residents and team members to participate in the home's activities programme.
- Maintain posters and notice boards within the home.
Person Specification:
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Ability to organize activities
- Outgoing and fun to be around
- IT literacy competent with the use of systems
- Good communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal English
