We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our Children's Diabetes Team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide high-quality psychological services to children and young people with diabetes and related health conditions.
Main Responsibilities- Provide psychological assessment and intervention to children and young people with diabetes and their families.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct group work, staff training, consultation, and support to enhance the psychological well-being of children and young people with diabetes.
- Contribute to the training of other professionals and participate in service evaluation and audit.
- Clinical training and professional registration with the HCPC as a clinical psychologist.
- Experience of working with children, young people, and families, including those with health conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
