The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ward Manager to lead our Medium Secure Division. As a key member of our team, you will have managerial and operational responsibility for your ward and all aspects of performance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead by example and inspire your team to provide exceptional care and operational excellence.
  2. Develop and implement effective day-to-day support and operational leadership to maintain operational excellence and high levels of nursing and care.
  3. Work collaboratively with other wards and teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  4. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, and lead processes to enhance the quality and operational management of your wards.

Requirements

  • Experience in a management position, preferably in a secure care setting.
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a positive outlook.
  • Ability to influence and support others, and be enthusiastic and positive about change.
  • Skilled in British Sign Language (BSL) as a preference.
