Service Manager (Advocacy) Job Opportunity

Morgan Hunt Ltd is proud to be working exclusively with Mind in Brighton and Hove on their search for a Service Manager (Advocacy) to join their dedicated team.

About the Role

As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality mental health services, ensuring that all services are client-focused and promote service user involvement. You will work closely with the team to ensure that all services meet the highest standards of quality and represent best practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with contract requirements
  • Undertake effective line management, including regular supervision and annual appraisal
  • Responsible for improvement and development of services, in line with service user needs
  • Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with staff, volunteers, and partners
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced professional with a background in managing and delivering mental health services. Advocacy experience or knowledge would be an added bonus. You should have experience managing staff and volunteers, as well as managing contracts. We are happy to consider someone at a Team Leader level ready to take a step into management, provided they have experience overseeing paid members of staff.

What We Offer

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team at Mind in Brighton and Hove, who have grown significantly over the past few decades. The role is based in New England Street, Brighton, and you will be required to travel around the West Sussex area. A car driver is desirable. The role is 4 days a week, and the salary is £36,561, which is pro rata.
