Position Overview

We are collaborating with a prominent organization in the electrical services sector, in search of a skilled Electrical Technician to become a part of their workforce. The primary responsibilities encompass performing electrical installation condition assessments, executing essential repairs, and overseeing both scheduled and urgent maintenance activities.

Compensation Package:

  • Base salary for Electrical Technician - £36,400
  • Salary for Approved Technician with testing and inspection qualifications - £39,800
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
  • Annual leave: 24 days plus Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Assessments (EICRs)
  • Execute necessary remedial actions based on EICRs
  • Manage both scheduled and urgent electrical tasks
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality regulations

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
  • Skilled in utilizing tablets for documentation and reporting
  • Completed a recognized electrical apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3 and AM2)
  • Possesses 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
  • Experienced in testing, inspecting, and maintaining electrical systems
  • City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent preferred, with the opportunity to obtain this during employment
  • Exhibits a high level of customer service
  • Holds a valid driving license
