Lead Financial Analyst Role within Databricks

The Lead Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in the Finance department, reporting directly to the Finance Director. In this capacity, you will engage with multiple teams such as Financial Planning & Analysis, Procurement, and Accounts Payable to guarantee the precision and promptness of financial outputs. Your duties will encompass preparing journal entries, evaluating account reconciliations, and assisting with audits and compliance with tax regulations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Gather and structure entries for general ledger accounts
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheets
  • Uphold accounting policies and procedural standards
  • Support audit processes and ensure internal compliance
  • Collaborate with legal teams and external advisors for new business entities
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and lead process enhancement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Big 4 or Top 10 audit firms is preferred
  • Possession of ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent certification
  • Familiarity with international and US GAAP standards
  • Experience in audits and statutory financial statements
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
  • Willingness to work with diverse teams
  • Proficiency in cloud-based financial systems
  • Experience with Netsuite & Coupa is advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
