**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Accountant to join our client's team in Edinburgh. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of our new finance system, Agresso Unit 4.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support the implementation of the new finance system, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Collaborate with the project team to continuously develop and improve the system, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the organisation.
  • Assist with data transfer from the previous ERP system, ensuring accurate and timely migration.
  • Support system upgrades and new releases, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to end-users, ensuring they are equipped to effectively utilise the system.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Take on a leadership role, providing technical expertise and support to the finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Director.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in a System Accounting role, with a strong background in supporting system implementation and improvements.
  • Previous experience with Agresso Unit 4 or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

**What We Offer:**

A competitive salary banding between £43,000 and £54,000, depending on experience, plus a range of fantastic benefits and a hybrid working week of 2 days in the office + flexitime.
