Key Qualifications:
  • Chartered Engineer status, MIStructE or MICE (or nearing Chartered status).
  • Proven experience in leading the structural engineering delivery of smaller projects, including managing focused project teams to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Strong background in the design of common structural materials, along with a solid understanding of current design standards and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in guiding projects from initial concept through to construction.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to foster client relationships.
  • Ability to make informed decisions, take initiative, and work proactively.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee multiple projects or segments of larger projects to ensure completion within budget and timeline.
  • Deliver high-quality structural engineering designs efficiently.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, contractors, design teams, and third parties.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior team members.
  • Effectively manage your time, especially when assigned to multiple projects.
  • Develop client relationships and identify potential business opportunities.
  • This position may require security clearance, and employment offers will depend on obtaining the necessary level of clearance, which will be discussed during the interview process.
