About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Care in Mind, a leading provider of residential services for young people aged 16-30 years old. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of our 5-bed service in Fulwood, Preston.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Registered Manager in planning and implementing care plans for our young people
  • Conduct regular supervisions with staff to ensure they are meeting the needs of our young people
  • Assist with the recruitment and selection of new staff members
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are equipped to provide high-quality care
  • Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people
Requirements
  • Minimum of 12 months supervisory experience in a residential setting
  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Full clean driving license and access to a car for work purposes
  • Excellent understanding of mental health and the issues young people face
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a wider multi-disciplinary team
