Fund Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accountant to join our team at Hays Accounts and Finance. As a Fund Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting services, including preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS or UK GAAP.
- Assist with client relationships for allocated portfolios, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare consolidated reporting and financial statements, including supporting files and review of work produced by team members.
- Lead year-end and audits, ensuring all regulatory and statutory reporting deadlines and filings are achieved.
- Implement and continually improve processes while maintaining compliance and documenting procedures.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with strong IFRS knowledge and technical accounting skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS, and related preparation of statutory financial statements and auditor liaison.
- Strong communication skills and business partnering experience to build and manage relationships.
