Job Title: Senior Underwriter/ Team Leader

You will provide leadership and direction to the renewal team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. You will manage and monitor team and individual performance, taking action where necessary to improve, and set SMART goals, managing resource, prioritizing workflow, and reviewing key deliverables.

It's essential that you have strong coaching/mentoring skills to develop the capabilities of all team members. We are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about the professional development of others, as well as themselves.

We will consider applications from current Commercial Insurance Team Leaders, as well as Senior Underwriters/Brokers (with some mentoring experience), who would like to transition into an official Team Leader role.

Our client operates a hybrid-working arrangement, allowing you to work 2 days from home. The team is well-renowned in the industry for their friendly, supportive, and collaborative environment, and there are lots of sports and social events available.

You'll be rewarded with a generous basic salary to £60K (Negotiable, depending on experience), plus a highly lucrative 25% bonus scheme and impressive corporate benefits, which include substantial pension contributions and financial bonuses for passing CII qualifications.
