We are seeking a talented Team Leader to join our Commercial Insurance team in Leeds. Our client operates in over 20 countries and is renowned for its excellence, innovation, and customer service.

As a Team Leader, you will provide leadership and direction to the renewal team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. You will manage and monitor team and individual performance, taking action where necessary to improve, and set SMART goals, managing resource, prioritizing workflow, and reviewing key deliverables.

You will coach and develop the team to a high level of performance, providing excellent service to brokers, prioritizing renewals, and mid-term adjustments to ensure deadlines are met. You will be involved in underwriting some risks and attending underwriting and broker meetings to provide insight into developments, trends, and feedback on market conditions.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about the professional development of others, as well as themselves. You will have the opportunity to get involved in some really interesting ad hoc projects and make a real difference.

We will consider applications from current Commercial Insurance Team Leaders, as well as Senior Underwriters/Brokers with some mentoring experience, who would like to transition into an official Team Leader role.

Our client operates a hybrid-working arrangement, allowing you to work 2 days from home. The team is well-renowned in the industry for their friendly, supportive, and collaborative environment, and there are lots of sports and social events available, including an incredible annual summer ball.

You will be rewarded with a generous basic salary to £60K (Negotiable, depending on experience), plus a highly lucrative 25% bonus scheme and impressive corporate benefits, which include substantial pension contributions and financial bonuses for passing CII qualifications.
