Lead React Native Engineer

ECOM is excited to partner with a leading eCommerce company based in Manchester to find a talented Lead React Native Engineer to lead a team and drive technical excellence in a cutting-edge mobile app setup.

The company has a strong presence in the eCommerce space and is growing rapidly, with ambitious plans for expansion. The team works remotely, but occasional collaboration in Manchester is required.

As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a team of software engineers, contributing to technical direction, and promoting continuous improvement and agile values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of React Native engineers and provide technical guidance and support
  • Contribute to technical direction and strategy for the team and wider department
  • Drive continuous improvement and agile values within the team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile apps
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in React Native development

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of React Native development, including use of Typescript, Jest, and Redux. Experience managing a team of software engineers and previous CI/CD experience are also essential.

The company offers a competitive salary up to 70k, plus an annual bonus of 15%. The flexible working model, with occasional trips to the office, provides a great work-life balance.
