Capital Accounting Specialist

About the Role
This is a newly created cross-cutting position that sits within the Management and Commercial section of the finance team at Allen Lane. As a key member of the finance team, you will take the lead on capital accounting and maintenance of the Council's Fixed Asset Register, as well as keeping track of funding for the capital schemes that support the capital programme, including S106 and Community Infrastructure Levy Schemes (CIL).
You will support a wide range of stakeholders across the organization, including elected members, by providing accounting support and advice with regard to the Council's 5-year rolling capital programme.
About You
- Specialist in Capital Accounting with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Supportive, flexible, and positive attitude with excellent self-organizational skills
- A team player who works collaboratively across the organization
- Qualified Accountant (CCAB/CIMA) with experience in capital accounting
