About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our team at Kenna Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals to deliver a large-scale project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Development: Continuously develop and improve the quality of our construction projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Tendering and Procurement: Assist in the tendering process, ensuring that all necessary documentation and methodologies are in place, and that reports are submitted as required.
  • Business Development: Identify and capitalize on business opportunities, working closely with clients to deliver repeat work and drive business growth.
  • Performance Management: Conduct and review performance reviews, ensuring that all team members are meeting their objectives and targets.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Site Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Logistics and Operations: Continuously review and improve logistics and operations on site, working closely with the project team to ensure that all aspects of the project are running smoothly.
  • Co-ordination and Communication: Ensure that all trades are co-ordinated and that communication is effective throughout the project.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Extensive experience in construction project management
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of construction methodologies and best practices
