About the Role:
The Engineering Manager – Projects will be a key member of the Evolv Energies Project Delivery Team, reporting to the Head of Projects. This role will provide engineering leadership to our projects team, ensuring the delivery of optimum engineering solutions that enable cost-effective and efficient project delivery for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Project Engineering Deliverables: Oversee project engineering deliverables and people from our multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
- Engineering Input and Collaboration: Lead and provide engineering input into tenders and project deliverables, collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Technical Authorities, Subject Matter Experts, and other Engineering Managers.
- Project Delivery and Resource Management: Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with both Evolv Energies and client engineering requirements, assigning necessary engineering and technical resources throughout tendering and delivery.
- Engineering Mentoring and Leadership: Provide engineering mentoring and leadership to our multi-disciplinary teams, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Interface Management: Manage interfaces across all disciplines within and outside of engineering, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Schedule Management: Ensure the engineering schedule is maintained throughout projects, ensuring timely completion and delivery.
- Knowledge and Experience: Leverage construction and installation experience and knowledge to inform project decisions, ensuring consideration of offshore wind and subsea cable projects.
- Expertise and Qualifications: Possess a Chartered Engineer qualification with demonstrable offshore engineering management expertise in the offshore renewables sector, as well as a detailed understanding of engineering projects through Concept, Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design.
