Position Overview
As a key member of the HR team, you will play a vital role in fostering a supportive and productive work environment. Your expertise will help guide managers and leaders in developing their teams to achieve optimal results for the organization and its community.

Core Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will vary based on your experience level, including:
  • Providing guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters.
  • Assisting managers in navigating complex investigations and processes.
  • Supporting employees during challenging periods, including health-related issues.
  • For seasoned professionals, focusing on transformational initiatives such as organizational restructuring or TUPE transfers.

Building strong relationships and crafting effective solutions in a multifaceted work environment is essential to our HR service delivery.

Work Flexibility

Ideal candidates will have experience in stakeholder engagement, employee relations, change management, policy formulation, and understanding local government employment practices.

Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for candidates with:
  • Proven experience in Human Resources, advising both managers and employees.
  • Relevant qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development at Level 5 or 7.
  • Experience managing intricate employee relations cases and change management initiatives.
  • A track record of developing and drafting HR policies.

Essential Skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Employment Law and related legislation.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Advanced analytical skills to inform strategic business decisions.

Language Proficiency
As this role involves direct interaction with the public, proficiency in spoken English is essential.
