Role Overview: As a Financial Analyst, you will possess a strong proficiency in Excel, with advanced skills in VLOOKUPs and PivotTables being essential. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI will be advantageous, particularly for creating impactful presentations for senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Collaboration: Engage with various departments and non-financial personnel to analyze data and reports, providing insights and recommendations to enhance reporting processes and accessibility.
  • Capital Expenditure Management: Assist local teams in managing the capital expenditure process, which includes validating initial business proposals, forecasting monthly expenditures, and conducting post-project evaluations.
  • Inventory Oversight: Coordinate inventory assessments to ensure adherence to internal control standards.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with the Finance Manager and site leadership to contribute to or spearhead initiatives aimed at improving overall business performance.

Qualifications:

  • CIMA/ACA/ACCA part-qualified, actively pursuing full certification.
  • A strong desire to engage with the business beyond traditional finance roles.
  • Willingness to undertake regular site visits and represent the finance function on location.
  • Experience in developing reports using Power BI or Tableau, along with advanced Excel capabilities to analyze and interpret large datasets.

Skills: Excellent interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of engaging and influencing stakeholders across both finance and non-finance sectors.
