Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Service Engineer to join our team at Calor Gas. As a key member of our Customer Engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and servicing of our bulk tanks and assets, identifying and resolving any potential issues to ensure optimum performance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients and answering their queries with confidence and professionalism.
  • Demonstrate expertise in gas installations, repairs, and maintenance, adhering to the highest safety standards.
  • Participate in a standby rota to respond to gas emergencies beyond regular working hours, requiring flexibility, a positive, and adaptable approach.

Requirements:

  • ACS Gas qualification to carry out gas work safely and effectively.
  • Full driving License
  • Relevant gas engineering experience considered useful, with an understanding of LPG and installation/maintenance of bulk LPG tanks and cylinders desirable but not essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues, providing top-notch service.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards, including Health and Safety awareness.
  • Ability to follow procedures and instructions.
