Senior Employee Relations Manager

This rapidly expanding business is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Manager to join their team. As a key member of the HR function, you will play a critical role in ensuring that employee relations risks are effectively mitigated, while maintaining the credibility and reputation of the ER team.

This is a critical role that offers a unique opportunity to add value and drive change in a dynamic business environment. You will be responsible for managing a team of ER specialists, providing commercial support and advice, and developing content and delivering training to ER/HR and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial support and advice to senior stakeholders, taking a proactive and consultative approach to managing quality and risk.
  • Develop and implement effective ER strategies, ensuring timely and pragmatic advice and guidance is provided to the business.
  • Coach and develop the ER team, acting as an ambassador for the team and the firm to implement continuous improvement and ways of working.
  • Assess and analyse employee relations trends, providing meaningful insights and recommendations to the HR team and wider business.
  • Play a key role in ongoing up-skilling and education of generalist and other HR teams in legislative and best practice developments and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experienced Manager with proven experience of effectively managing a small team.
  • Experience of working in an employee relations focused role, including extensive knowledge of employment law and proficient in application of business aligned solutions.
  • Proven stakeholder management experience as a commercial, credible and assertive subject matter expert.
  • Proven experience of introducing continuous process improvement and new ways of working.
