We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Automation Specialist to join our team at INEOS Acetyls. As a key member of our process automation team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing process automation techniques, including process control, safety instrumented systems, and distributed control system hardware strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop process automation techniques, including process control, safety instrumented systems, and distributed control system hardware strategies.
- Provide plant commissioning support and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements within process automation field.
- Manage petrochemical plant availability and maintain fully supported and fit for purpose process automation solutions at lowest cost.
- Deal with complex technical situations, be innovative and good at problem solving, with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Requirements:
- DCS/SIS engineering experience, including Honeywell TPS/Experion control system and FSC/SM safety systems, gained while working on continuous refinery/chemical processes.
- Honeywell DCS hardware knowledge, fault finding and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of chemical engineering processes and maintenance practices.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
