Job Opportunity: Locum Housing Disrepair Lawyer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Locum Housing Disrepair Lawyer to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a Local Authority and a broad working understanding of Housing Disrepair Law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Housing Disrepair cases at all stages of Pre-Litigation/Litigation
  • Ensure compliance with the Housing Disrepair Pre-Action Protocol
  • Advise on the management of risk on complex and contentious legal issues
  • Represent the Council in court and conduct advocacy where appropriate
  • Negotiate and draft complex and sensitive agreements and documents in the area of Housing Disrepair

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working within a Local Authority
  • Broad working understanding of Housing Disrepair Law

What We Offer:

An attractive rate of up to £55 per hour Umbrella dependent on experience.
