Head of Conveyancing Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced conveyancer to become Head of Department within our respected property department, assisting existing fee earners and working with other Partners.

As a leading law firm in Reading town centre, we offer a wide range of legal services to both private individuals and corporate clients.

Our focus is on providing excellent personalised client service, with a friendly, practical and efficient approach.

The successful applicant must meet the criteria set by the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme to be able to be appointed in this role.

Your case load will include a large proportion of high value residential properties and from time to time, some agricultural matters.

You will be responsible for the conduct of residential conveyancing matters, including:

  • Sales, Purchases and Re-mortgages
  • Freehold and Leasehold Conveyancing
  • Transfers of Equity
  • Equity Release Schemes
  • Leasehold Enfranchisement
  • Acquisitions of land or property for development

This exciting opportunity will enable the successful candidate to assist in promoting, developing and marketing the Property Department.

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000-£65,000 and a range of benefits, including free parking, group pension, healthcare cash plan, flexible annual leave and hybrid working.
