About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Engagement Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for raising awareness and promotion of our programmes within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Promotion: Sell our programme and products to partners and potential participants, explaining the service offering, rights, and responsibilities to participants.
  • Event Promotion: Promote brand exposure and services at regional events and meetings.
  • Referral Development: Seek out and maximise referral sources and repeat business.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Co-ordinate partners' activities and ensure stakeholder engagement.
  • Initial Assessments: Conduct initial assessments to understand participants' needs and barriers and how we can support them.
  • Intervention Planning: Identify appropriate solutions and interventions for participants.
  • Barrier Support: Liaise with relevant partners to assist with barriers to employment.

Requirements

  • Community Experience: Experience working in the community, fundraising, sales, or in a people-facing role.
  • Targeted Environment: Experience working in a targeted environment.
  • Interest in People: Interest in people and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel locally.
  • Qualifications: A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma and GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification).
