**Job Title:** Higher Level Teaching Assistant

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Larwood Academy Trust. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health related difficulties in a dynamic and innovative special school environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide individualized support to pupils, including withdrawal work and one-to-one sessions to promote pupil progression
* Assist in the management of pupil behavior, including whole-class and individual pupil support
* Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective lesson plans and strategies
* Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment

**Requirements:**

* GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above or equivalent qualification
* Good behavior management skills and the ability to remain positive with pupils who may exhibit challenging behavior
* Experience of working with children in some capacity, preferably in a mainstream or special school environment
* Ability to work flexibly on a day-to-day basis
