The Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal/Lead Piping/Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic piping team at Shorterm Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing piping engineering projects, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage piping engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead engineering teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement piping engineering solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in piping engineering, preferably in an EPC company or as an Operator/Client Engineer.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects and leading engineering teams.
  • Experience of high hazard and COMAH facilities is essential.
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with process facilities, plant and equipment layout, for both brownfield and greenfield applications.
  • Ability to constructively participate in risk management system sessions.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and RGP for safety and environmental standards.
