Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Daventry. The successful candidate will provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring that students with SEN receive the necessary support to access the curriculum.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEN, promoting a culture of inclusion and diversity.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a Primary School setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), promoting student progress and achievement.
  • Knowledge of SEN legislation and policies, with a commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity.
