Job Title: Technical Sales Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Cambridge Research Biochemicals. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering sales targets and building strong relationships with our customers in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including academics and lab managers.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to customers, including product information and application support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and technical teams, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a Life Science discipline, preferably Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Molecular Biology.
  • PhD in a Biology-related discipline, such as Pharmacology or Neuroscience.
  • Proven technical sales experience in a related service-based business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong technical knowledge of peptides, proteins, antibodies, and assay development in drug discovery research.
