Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate production activities to meet daily targets and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and health and safety policies and procedures.
- Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve high levels of performance and productivity.
- Monitor and control production costs, inventory, and waste management.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve overall performance.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of production records and reports.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and customers to ensure seamless operations.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in a production or operations management role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of numeracy and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality management systems.
- IOSH Managing Safety certification or equivalent.
- Food Safety Level 3 and HACCP Level 3 certifications.
Package Description:
We offer a competitive salary of £13.23 per hour, with opportunities for overtime. Immediate starts are available, and we provide a COVID-19 safe environment. Free on-site parking is also available.
