Job Title: Care Services Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Care Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Extra Care facilities in the Reading area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care is provided to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver services effectively and efficiently, with clear monitoring procedures and processes in place to ensure standards are continually met.
  • Provide management, leadership, and support to all staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure good communication and links with all stakeholders, including residents, families, and external partners.
  • Ensure that staff are trained for their roles and responsibilities, with ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Put in place measures to comply with CQC regulations, maintaining a safe and compliant environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Manager in a care setting, preferably within extra/domiciliary/residential care or supported housing.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, residents, and stakeholders.
  • Good management skills, with a willingness to take on responsibility and lead by example.
  • A team player, with a goal to leverage good service and promote a positive work environment.
  • Knowledge of CQC compliance and regulations, with the ability to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
