Plumbing and Heating Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer, specialising in plumbing and heating, to join our Facilities and Services department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our plumbing and heating services across all our sites, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of our plumbing and heating systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of equipment, including water heaters, calorifiers, motors, circulating heating pumps, vented and unvented systems, boilers, fans, drives, ground and air source heating systems.
- Take on additional responsibilities for Legionella management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all health and safety obligations are met, coordinating with the project delivery team to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain sites in a clean and organised manner, adhering to our high standards.
- Produce, manage, and maintain critical spares lists to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
- Support the Estates Manager in developing process and procedures, ensuring best practices are adopted and adhered to within the team.
- NVQ or City & Guilds certification in a relevant category.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, heating, ventilation, F-Gas, and refrigeration.
- Mechanical maintenance engineering experience.
- Gas safe trained.
- Renewable energy installation and maintenance experience.
- Possession of a full UK driving licence is essential.
- Knowledge of hot and cold water systems.
- Good computer literacy skills.
- Knowledge of LEV systems is beneficial.
- Application of good fault finding and communication skills are essential.
